The legendary Ukrainian comedy *Chasing Two Hares* is coming to European stages in a vibrant musical production—featuring brilliant humor, live music, songs, romantic intrigues, and a unique Ukrainian flair.
This familiar story, beloved by generations of audiences, comes to life in a modern, dynamic theatrical format. At the center of the action is Svyryd Golokhvosty, a charismatic adventurer who decides to settle down with two brides at once. The plan seems flawless, but very quickly turns into a series of comical misunderstandings, unexpected encounters, and situations from which it’s nearly impossible to escape unscathed.
Pronya, Golokhvosty, and other beloved characters are lively, spirited, funny, and incredibly recognizable. The play has everything we love about this story: sharp humor, love, adventure, music, and the genuine energy of Ukrainian theater.
The production features renowned Ukrainian artists, including People’s Artists of Ukraine Anatoliy Hnatyuk, Tamara Yatsenko, and Oksana Pekun, as well as other prominent figures from the Ukrainian theater scene.
