TAUTUMEITAS announces its first European tour featuring solo concerts!
The Latvian group Tautumeitas, consisting of six members and known for its unique blend of Baltic folk traditions with a contemporary sound and vibrant live performances, will embark on its first European headlining tour this fall. After representing Latvia at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, the group introduced millions of viewers across Europe to their distinctive musical style and gained a growing international audience. In September, Tautumeitas will present their thrilling concert show in Warsaw, Berlin, Prague, and Vienna.
The tour follows the release of the group’s new album, *Līgojami* —their first album entirely dedicated to the Latvian summer solstice festival. The album explores ancient solstice songs, nature rituals, and vocal traditions, combining energetic, rhythmic arrangements with intimate a cappella harmonies that reveal the beauty and power of traditional Latvian polyphonic singing.
Following a series of select summer festival performances, including the Pohoda Festival in Slovakia, Tautumeitas continue to strengthen their international presence. In September, the group will embark on its first European solo tour, giving audiences the opportunity to experience a full-scale concert show ahead of the group’s U.S. debut, which is scheduled for early 2027.
Thanks to their powerful vocal harmonies, distinctive visual style, and spectacular stage productions, Tautumeitas have already performed at world-renowned festivals such as the Glastonbury Festival, Eurosonic Noorderslag, the Rudolstadt Festival, and the Festival du Bout du Monde, gradually gaining more and more fans around the world.
