Savana Funk in Vienna 15 October 2026

This fall, the Italian funk trio Savana Funk will present their new album in Austria, performing in Vienna on Thursday October 15, 2026, at the Replugged club.

Savana Funk embodies the essence of live music, blending funk, rock, blues, and African music in their sound. Groove is their language, and the stage is their home.

Aldo Betto (guitar), Blake Franchetto (bass), and Youssef Ait Bouazza (drums) met in Bologna in 2015. Having released six albums, one EP, and played hundreds of concerts, they have become one of the most original bands on the Italian scene, performing at international festivals such as Sziget and sharing the stage with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Seun Kuti, Kokoroko, Nu Genea, as well as collaborating with Gaudí and the New York-based label Putumayo.

In 2026, they opened a new chapter in their creative journey with the album *Behind The Eyes*, produced by Tommaso Colliva—a collaboration that expanded their sound, worldview, and musical horizons.

At their concerts, groove becomes a universal language—a continuous flow of sound, body, and movement that unites tradition and experimentation.
