The Symphonians chamber orchestra will bring these magical melodies to life on stage, while colorful animations from iconic animated films will unfold on the big screen.
Hayao Miyazaki’s legendary animated films have long since ceased to be mere cartoons—they are entire worlds filled with wonders, deep emotions, and, of course, unforgettable music. Now, the amazing soundtracks by Joe Hisaishi and other composers—featured in "Spirited Away", "My Neighbor Totoro", “Howl’s Moving Castle”, and other masterpieces—will take on a new, vibrant sound.
The music from Miyazaki’s universe is an art form in its own right. It has the power to transport the listener to the “Porco Rosso” airplane flying over the sea, to Baba’s cozy oven in "Kiki’s Delivery Service", or to Yubaba’s mysterious bathhouses. The melodies are at times gentle and lyrical, at other times epic and full of drama, creating a unique emotional palette that both children and adults can feel so deeply.
The “Music of Miyazaki World” concert is a journey through time and space, an opportunity to relive the magic of stories familiar from childhood through a virtuoso performance.
The Symphonians are a group of professional musicians from different countries, united by a sincere love for their craft. The ensemble is multifaceted and constantly evolving, bringing new ideas to life and expanding the boundaries of their creative work.
The Symphonians’ music takes on new life in every country. We deliberately avoid rigid frameworks, allowing the program to sound at times like an intimate chamber conversation and at other times like a powerful dialogue of many voices. The number of performers may vary depending on the acoustics and atmosphere of the evening, but the essence remains the same—our signature sound, refined down to the very last note.
