Ilya Kolmanovsky at a lecture for adults will tell us what changes in science await us in 2025 and how all this will affect the future of mankind.
Well, the year began with an unprecedented crisis: the mass closure of scientific programs in the U.S. threatens the entire civilization. Scientists have been asked to tell us that we are facing new epidemics, species extinction, and climate change.
Against the backdrop of a gloomy future, there is good news only from the past: let's talk about mysterious brainy ancestors and the origin of life.
A real science standup for adults from a famous podcaster awaits you. But you can take your teenagers with you, it will be useful for them too.
Ilya Kolmanovsky is a PhD in biology, science journalist, author of the podcasts "Naked Digger" and "One and a Half Digger". His job is to read scientific research every day, talk to scientists, and visit their labs (sometimes as a research volunteer). And then to put together offline meetings, discussions, and workshops to talk together about what the scientists have asked us to pass on and what we want to pass on to them in return.
