Boris Grebenshchikov in Wroclaw. One of the key figures of Russian rock culture, once again takes the stage with the BG+ project - the ensemble, which has become his main creative space for today after the end of the history of the Aquarium band. Within the framework of the tour the musician presents a new concert program "Strange News from a Distant Star".
The set-list includes songs from the last three mini albums of BG, iconic compositions of the "Aquarium" era and brand new works that sound especially sharp and modern. This is not a retrospective or nostalgia, but a live conversation with the present - honest, ironic and poignant.
Grebenshchikov's concerts traditionally go beyond the usual performance. It is a musical journey where classics familiar to several generations of listeners are naturally juxtaposed with new material - filled with drama, subtle poetics and that recognizable inner light that has long been BG's signature.
BG+ are the musicians with whom Grebenshchikov has been working and performing for the last few years. Their joint sound is dense, lively and in spirit as close as possible to the very "Aquarium", which once defined the face of the whole epoch.
