The topic of the lecture: A Time to Love Stravinsky
There is a common opinion among musicians. It goes like this: the twentieth century did not begin in 1900, it began in 1913, when people heard Stravinsky's ballet "Sacred Spring". Stravinsky was a Russian émigré, a trendsetter of musical fashion and an epathetic intellectual. But the main thing is that his music can be listened to in everyday life and you can draw energy from it if you understand how it is made. At the lecture we will uncover the rhythm, chords and graphics of Stravinsky's scores to see how his music is made and make it a part of our lives.
