Andrew Donalds is a world-renowned singer and songwriter from Jamaica, known both as a solo artist and as a prominent member of the band ENIGMA.
In 1998, producer Michel Cretu invited Andrew to join the ENIGMA project. Together, they worked on ENIGMA’s albums No. 4, 5, 6, and 7, recording such famous tracks as “Seven Lives,” “Boum-Boum,” “Je T’aime Till My Dying Day,” “In The Shadow, In The Light,” “Modern Crusaders,” and many others, as well as on Andrew’s solo albums and singles “Simple Obsession,” “One Night Lover,” and “All Out Of Love,” which achieved international platinum status.
ENIGMA’smusic is a cosmic synthesis of sounds, ethnic motifs, rhythm, and emotion that is difficult to categorize under any specific style: the project has created its own musical style—“Enigmatic”! Andrew was invited to join the ENIGMA project for good reason: he has an extraordinarily captivating voice, and his work is a blend of musical genres and styles from different countries: new age, reggae, pop, rock ’n’ roll, ethno...
